cdmp3 uses cdparanoia or cdda2wav to Extract single tracks or even a whole CD and converts them on-the-fly into MP3 or Ogg Vorbis files.
Using the CDDB database it is possible to include information like the artist's name or the track's title into the file name or as meta tags into the file content.
